Beattie McGuinness Bungay has beaten JWT to win the pounds 15 million McCain creative business.
The frozen foods company called a review of its creative account in March this year. TBWA\London, its incumbent for three years, declined to participate in the process. No intermediary was involved in the pitch.
The news comes as a blow to JWT, whose new chief executive, Alison Burns, previously worked on a consultancy basis for McCain.
