Text of report entitled "Somali refugees crossing into Kenya" published by Kenyan newspaper The Standard website on 31 May

The United Nations Special Adviser on Displacement yesterday reported that 2,000 Somali refugees had crossed into Kenya in the last one month.

Mr Dennis McNamara said another 250,000 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) were living in Mogadishu. He was speaking in Nairobi where he appealed to the international community to stop the human tragedy in Somalia.
