from ANTARA, The Indonesian National News Agency New York, May 30 (ANTARA) - The US military has sent personnel and many kinds of equipment to Indonesia to help victims of an earthquake which killed about 5,000 people in Central Java, chiefly in Yogyakarta province and Klaten town, the US Pacific Command (PACOM) said

The deployment was part of the US government's response to an Indonesian request for humanitarian aid, PACOM said through the US State Department here Monday
