YESTERDAY, share prices on Bursa Malaysia continued to consolidate further. Its overall declining counters continued to outpace its overall advancing counters by 449 to 279. The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) consolidated within a tight trading range of 2.89 points.

The KLCI staged a late-hour rebound to close at 929.89 points yesterday, giving a day-on-day gain of 1.52 points, or 0.16 per cent.

Lion Industries Corp Bhd staged a technical rebound yesterday. Its daily price trend rebounded to close at RM1.25, giving a day-on-day gain of 9 sen, or 7.76 per cent.
