May 31--Many parents save their children, but it takes an extraordinary child -- like fourth-grader R.J. Bishop -- to rescue his parent.

When R.J., a student at Hawk Ridge Elementary, came home after school with his younger sister, he found their apartment locked. Suspecting his mother was still inside, R.J. obtained a key from the apartment manager and opened the door to find his mother on the floor, seizing.
