A while back we reported on some of the dangers of cocaine use during pregnancy. There have been additional recent studies demonstrating serious brain damage to the unborn baby exposed to cocaine, clearly seen with modern imaging techniques.

We know that adults who have used cocaine can suffer severe spasms and constriction of blood vessels of the brain, leading to death in some instances. And now, according to a group at the University of Barvelona, a fetal death due to this exact phenomenon occurred.
