SHARES prices on Bursa Malaysia continued to consolidate in tight trading ranges with select heavyweight index-linked counters making gains which managed to offset the fall suffered by Genting which lost its bid to operate a casino in Singapore.

The benchmark Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) fell from its high of 932.49 points to its low of 926.97 closing at 928.37, shedding a day-on-day loss of 2.38 points, or 0.26 per cent.

Ekovest staged a technical rebound with 3.09 million shares transacted, as its daily price trend rose to close at RM1.86, giving a day-on-day gain of 18 sen, or …
