Men, Women & Children emerged from the ashes of New York hardcore band Glassjaw in 2005, but their debut self-titled albura is more Electric 6 than Fugazi; a collection of twisted dancefloor fillers that are earning MWC a rapidly expanding UK fanbase.
The band completed their first UK tour this week supporting current buzz band Panic! At The Disco and will return to support the release of debut single Dance In My Blood on June 5. Warner Bros director of marketing Adam Hollywood believes MWC stand a good chance of developing into one of the year's surprise success stories. "There's a real movement of rock-indie kids who want to have some fun and this band fit smack bang in the middle of that," he says.
