May 28--Because graduations are held over Memorial Day weekend, each of District 60's ceremonies include a recognition of the Americans who have died in war, marked by the ringing of a bell and trumpeters playing "Taps." The bell-ringing honors at Centennial High School's ceremony Saturday afternoon were performed by a former Bulldog whose knowledge of those sacrifices is fresher than perhaps anyone else sitting in the Colorado State Fair Events Center.
