GE Energy recently announced that its nuclear business has formally begun construction on a two-story, 40,000-square-foot advanced nuclear reactor technology center at its headquarters in Wilmington, NC.
According to GE Energy, the new center, which is expected to be completed in November, will house more than 200 engineers, project managers and support staff dedicated to advanced reactor technology.
