Actor on motorcycle fatally hit by car in western Tokyo.

An actor riding a motorcycle died after being hit by a car while at an intersection on a national highway in western Tokyo early Saturday morning, police said.
Police initially arrested the driver of the car, 29-year-old company employee Ryo Teraoka, on suspicion of professional negligence resulting in injury because the actor was alive at the time. Police upgraded the charges to professional negligence resulting in death after the victim died.
