Vietnam: National Assembly continues debating draft laws.

Section: Regional News - The draft revised law on civil aviation needs to stipulate coordination among agencies and organisations of other sectors in order to ensure the security, safety and effectiveness of the sector's activities, said the National Assembly's Standing Committee.

The Committee proposed the amendment on the basis that civil aviation sector facilities so far are being used by other sectors for divergent purposes and that the sector's operations still need coordination from defence, police, post and telecommunications, meteorological, heath care and customs units.
