Content Selection Committee to give greater Scopus
Elsevier's abstracting and indexing service, Scopus, launched last year, has formed a Content Selection Committee. The committee is made up of 20 scientists from a wide range of scientific disciplines and geographic locations, and 10 subject librarians. Members will select content and look after policy, strategy and functionality. "The only way to effectively incorporate new research is to listen to the scientific community," said Jaco Zijlstra, Scopus director.
