OneSource back in frame

Now sourcing much of its UK and European company data from Experian to replace D&B, Michelle Perry tests out the newly-streamlined OneSource Business Browser

Less than a year ago infoUSA bought Onesource.com, with the result that the business information provider could no longer source its European data from infoUSA's arch rival, Dun & Bradstreet.

In the ensuing months, to ensure its credibility as a leading business database, OneSource has had to prove its mettle and negotiate new feeds for its European data. The information provider now sources its business content from regional providers, such as credit-checking business Experian for companies

in the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia.

With information overload reaching excessive heights, a content provider's ability to tailor and package data to a user's needs is vital.
