May 21--Drill team captain Sarah Hopp and her classmates in the 2006 graduating class of Central High School are pioneers. They voted on the school name. They chose the school colors: crimson and gold. They even picked a mascot, the Chargers. Hopp, 18, of Watauga, will be among 320 students in Central High's first graduating class when they receive their diplomas today at the Fort Worth Convention Center. The school opened in 2003 in far north Fort Worth with about 840 freshmen and sophomores. It now has about 2,400 students in grades nine to 12, Principal David Hinson said.
