May 18--The Mountain View Elementary neighborhood sits between North Maple, North Woodrow, East Fallbrook and East Cromwell avenues.

Annual events: Residents of East El Paso Avenue used to hold block parties that included a bounce house, games and barbecue.

"Last year was the first year we didn't have it," says Kami Gal- lagher, who moved there with her husband, Sean, eight years ago.
