Mandaue City undergoes urban facelift.

MANDAUE CITY IN CEBU province, said to be just the bridge city connecting highly commercialized cities of Lapu Lapu and Cebu, is currently undergoing a major urban facelift as part of preparations for its hosting of the 12th Asean Summit in December.
Under a major urban renewal program, the city will construct the P250-million Cebu International Convention Center (CICC), which will be the venue of the Asean Summit. It is also planning to develop a 180-hectare reclaimed property fronting Cebu harbor into a key central business district.
