AIDS Foundation Houston, Inc. (AFH) presents "Latin Fusion" featuring the acclaimed Jose-Miguel Yamal Latin Jazz Octet on Sunday, May 7, 2006 at Newberry Campa Architects Office at 708 East 19th Street in the Heights.

José-Miguel Yamal, a Chilean-American jazz pianist, has a wildly varied repertoire, from salsa and cumbia, to bossa nova, samba, and cuecas. "Latin Fusion" features traditional-Latin music infused with funk and soul. This event is sponsored by Newberry Campa Architects, Laredo National Bank, Capital Beverages and the Patron Spirits Company. The performance celebrates Latin culture while raising awareness regarding the impact of HIV/AIDS on the Latin-American community.

Laredo National Bank Regional Sales Manager Ricardo Guajardo says, "Laredo National Bank is proud to support HIV/AIDS awareness among local youth by partnering with AIDS Foundation Houston to produce an event that is both fun and creates a positive social message."
