NAHA -- An F15 fighter careered off the runway at the U.S. Navy's Kadena base in Okinawa Prefecture on Tuesday morning due to trouble with its left landing gear, the local office of the Foreign Ministry said.

Nobody was injured in the accident that occurred at around 11:30 a.m., shortly after the aircraft landed at the base that stands over Kadena and neighboring administrative districts, …
