NARA -- Prosecutors have appealed a one-year prison term handed down on a woman for harassing a neighbor by repeatedly playing loud music for over two years on the grounds that the sentence is too lenient.

The Nara District Public Prosecutors Office appealed the district court ruling to the Osaka High Court on Monday.
