May 7--crosslands' home destroyed last month The Crossland family of Highland Creek came home April 19 to find their home on Harburn Forrest destroyed by a fire so hot that it melted siding off nearby homes.

"Seeing your house burn down is like watching a loved one die right in front of you," said Tyrone Crossland. "We had nothing of our own left."
