1. US policies

a. Al-Watan newspaper website carries an editorial entitled: "Unilateral Views," in which it reacts to President Bush's speech before the US-Jewish committee in Washington about supporting the Jewish state. (400 words)

2. Iran

a. Ukaz newspaper website carries a commentary by Al-Sulayman entitled: "The Persian Gulf," in which the writer reacts to the Iranian president who corrected Qatar's Amir by saying the Gulf was Persian, not Arabian. He says: "If President Nejad [Ahmadinezhad] was unable to restrain himself according to diplomatic norm in this insignificant incidence, would Iran be able to restrain its nuclear power in more complex and sensitive situations?"
