Gamestation, the high-street video game retailer, has appointed Rocket to handle its pounds 3 million media planning and buying account.
The Blockbuster-owned chain, which operates more than 200 stores across the UK, called the pitch in a bid to find new solutions for its media.
The account was previously held by Walker Media, which handles the main Blockbuster account. Walker did not repitch for the business.
Creative duties on the business remain with Cheethambell JWT, which created Gamestation's first TV campaign in December 2004.
