Subaru launches SI-Drive
In addition to the WRX Limited Subaru showed in New York (News, April 24), the Japanese automaker also introduced SI-Drive.
Legacy 2.5 GTs and spec B models will be equipped with SI-Drive, which stands for Subaru Intelligent Drive. SI-Drive allows the driver to adjust throttle response, fuel delivery and shift patterns. A knob on the center console has Intelligent, Sport and Sport Sharp modes, basically translating to fast, faster and fastest.
Price hike
When Lincoln changes the name of its Zephyr to MKZ for the 2007 model year, that name change will bring a price hike, but also more standard equipment.
