from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency IPOH, Dec 17 (Bernama) -- Senators Club chairman Datuk Hamzah Zainuddin today questioned the appointment of former British Airways senior executive Peter Read as director of operations of Malaysia Airlines (MAS)
He said among the factors causing the national carrier to suffer huge losses were wastage and extravagant spending by the management and that should be dealt with by its new managing director and chief executive officer Idris Jala
Jala, he said, should heed Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's directive for prudent spending
