Any who read Richard Lowry's "Say It Ain't So" (Feb. 13) should require no further evidence of our need to restore the operation of our government to what our Founding Fathers conceived. It was never anticipated that, as a free people, we would allow ourselves to be governed by a body of professional politicians who spend more time (and money) competing among themselves than on attending to the people's business.
