George Gilder makes some interesting points about men and higher education in "The Idea of the (Feminized) University" (Dec. 31), but his conflation of two different meanings of the term "feminized" results in a baffling conclusion. "Why would any self-respecting boy want to attend one of America's increasingly feminized universities, he asks bitterly, in opening.
