New funds MORE CHOICE ALL THE TIME The number of unit trusts in SA continues to increase. During the first quarter, it grew from 618 to 644.
There were no fund closures in the March quarter. In the previous quarter there was some spring-cleaning from Stanlib, SA's largest unit trust management company, which said goodbye to its Global and Global Brands funds and two funds of funds, the Multi-Manager Worldwide and Multi-Manager Worldwide Prudential.
