A team of 60 athletes have camped in Nyahururu in preparation for the Armed Forces athletics championships slated for June 9 and 10 at the Moi International Centre, Kasarani.

The team, from Kahawa Garrison, will go back in Nairobi late next month after concluding their training, which centres on speed, endurance and long runs.

The team's coach Kiprono Chepkwony said the soldiers preferred to train at Nyahururu town due to its good climate and altitude. "So far, our training has shown great …
