THE construction sector will bounce back, albeit marginally, after having contracted two straight years in 2005 and 2004, according to the Ministry of Finance industry reports.

Accordingly, the outlook for property market appears promising after a moderate 2005, MOF's outfit, Valuation and Property Services Department, said in its property market reports.

The construction sector should grow one per cent this year to rebound from the contractions of 1.6 per cent last year and 1.5 per cent in 2004, the department said.
