Apr. 26--SHERRILLS FORD -- Catawba County has reached an interim agreement with land developer Crescent Resources on how it should develop its four large tracts near Lake Norman.
Residents can learn more at a public information meeting at Sherrills Ford Elementary at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Crescent, Duke Energy Corp.'s development and land management arm, is proposing a 600-acre public park, two major housing developments and a retail-commercial-housing "village" to be built over years, maybe decades.
