Apr. 23--Crystall Gabriel enjoyed her spring break. Her favorite part was visiting the Louvre in Paris and seeing the art. And she really liked shopping in Europe, though the exchange rate from U.S. dollars to euros left much to be desired, the eighth-grader said. Crystall and six classmates from Sedgefield Middle went to England and France during spring break. They visited tourist spots such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the Champs-Elysees and the Eiffel Tower. The Observer published a story last month about the students before they left on their trip.
