MALAYSIAN AAU (MAAU) president Datuk Syed Mohamed Aidid Syed Murtaza and vice president Karim Ibrahim have strongly denied they were behind any move to oust Rear Admiral Datuk Danyal Balagopal as the association's deputy president.

In fact, Syed Aidid went one step further and even dismissed any rift with Balagopal and stressed that he does not support any factions in the MAAU.

Syed Aidid, however, also clarified that the association will go ahead with its plans to amend the constitution but will discuss the proposals at a board meeting before tabling it, again, in September's annual …
