AFTER reading the letter by Judy Livingston from Tasmania (NST, April 19), I wonder if Malaysians will wake up and do something about the mounting garbage problem in our country or typically shrug our collective shoulders and accuse Livingston of being a busybody. Knowing Malaysians, it will probably be the latter. Well, this Malaysian would like to plead with my fellow Malaysians to please get rid of this "rubbish" mentality. Look at what's happening to our water supply. Doesn't this alone tell us that it's high time we got our act together and started keeping the environment clean? Maybe we need a set of …
