Apr. 20--The Martin Agency just got carded.
Richmond's largest advertising firm landed the account yesterday for Discover Card, one of the nation's largest credit cards.
Martin will handle strategic planning and creative development for Discover.
It's the first major credit-card account for Martin, but not entirely new ground for the agency.
Martin built its reputation, in part, with work for clients such as Bank of Virginia, Signet and Bank One, which had their own credit-card operations.
But Discover represents a step up. Trade publications estimate that the account could be worth about $80 million …
