The Red Line version of Saturn's two-seat roadster gets its performance boost by turbocharging the 2.0-liter Ecotec engine, which also sees GM's first direct-injection use in North America. The engine produces 260 hp and 260 lb-ft, making it GM's highest specific output engine at 2.1 hp per cubic inch. It is also the most powerful production engine in the Ecotec line.
