Apr. 20--A Charleston electronics dealer was the only bidder Wednesday to provide and install 12 flat-panel televisions in the living quarters of the Governor's Mansion. Sodaro's, on Charleston's West Side, bid $24,998 for the contract. The bid was opened Wednesday by the state Purchasing Division. Barring some unforeseen technical error in the bid, Sodaro's will be awarded the contract, Department of Administration Diane Holley said. The request for quotations specifies that the project will include: -- A 50-inch plasma flat- panel high definition television, with wall mount with tilt capability.
