Apr. 19--Christina Leigh Stanbro recalled the Monday morning high-speed chase in Phenix City that left her bruised, battered and shaken -- and her friend, Kathryn Mallory Goins, dead. Stanbro, 23, of Phenix City said Tuesday that she was the front seat passenger in the 1979 Monte Carlo that led police on a deadly chase through the streets of Phenix City. The pursuit ended tragically around 1:30 a.m. when the vehicle left the road and struck a power pole. Phenix City police said one of their officers had attempted to stop the vehicle, driven by Dennis Jermaine Hoskins, 25, of 106 Fifth Place South, Phenix City, for "improper driving."…
