Taipei, 18 April: Premier Su Tseng-chang said Tuesday [18 April] that the launching of cross-Taiwan Strait chartered flights during the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival is possible so long as negotiations between the two sides on the issue are successful.

Noting that the Taipei Airlines Association (TAA) has been conducting talks with Chinese authorities under the commission of the government on the opening of cross-strait charter flight services on weekends and certain holidays, Su said that "if the talks bear …
