Thoughts on a one-off, $4 million Ferrari

I couldn't believe the March 27 cover car is a Ferrari 612 P4/5. It looks like my 1991 Acura NSX, black canopy and all. The designers at Acura should feel proud. The new P4/5 is a wonderful car, but for that kind of money I could have an Enzo, Bentley, Cayenne Turbo S and a large bank account.

Brian Roman, Raymore, Miss.

I'm a longtime subscriber and also a friend of Jim Glickenhaus, and I have seen the 612 P4/5. The illustrations look nothing like the actual car. They don't do justice to what Jim created. Don't believe what you read on ferrarichat.com; just show up at Monterey and be blown away.

Gary Bossert, via e-mail

Glickenhaus has a sweet ride on his hands. Let's hope he never lets anyone named Dietrich get behind the wheel of his rebuilt Enzo.
