Apr. 10--MCDONALD'S SPACE IS SET TO BE FILLED: As the saying goes, "location, location, location."

The former McDonald's on Healy Drive is finally under contract to sell after about a year.

Mac McCormack, the president of McCormack Realty, which is representing the seller, said that a contract is pending for a local restaurant to move into the space.

But less than a mile away on South Stratford Road, between Emory Drive and Silas Creek Parkway, two restaurant buildings are empty. A Wendy's closed last month and a Kentucky Fried Chicken closed a little more than a year ago.
