A greeting to Jiang Zemin at Shanghai Jiao Tong University as "President Jiang" has been removed from a report on the institute's website after causing a stir.

The university announced details of the visit and posted pictures on its website a day after Mr Jiang visited his alma mater and gave a speech last Thursday [6 April], in his capacity as a senior alumnus during the university's 110th anniversary.
