The governing body of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) has called for closer co-operation between the ILO and the European Union to promote "decent work for all."

Addressing the working party meeting of ILO Governing Body, which concluded its 295th session last week in Geneva, Louis Michel, European Commissioner for Development and Humanitarian Aid said: "It is not work which is lacking but the financial resources to promote it."
