BEIJING, April 06, 2006, SinoCast -- Taking up the hatchet against China Mobile's Blackberry-based mobile email service, China Unicom, the second largest mobile telecom carrier in China, this week also launched a similar service called Redberry.
This service keeps mobile phone users always online so they can get a access to a range of wireless information using their handsets. E-mails, for example, are sent directly to customers without having to first log on the Internet.
