KUALA LUMPUR: The daily traffic jam in Ampang is well known.

To most motorists, it is unbeatable.

And so it proved to four robbery suspects who tried to avoid the traffic snarl and ended up in the arms of the law instead.

The four were on the run from the cops and, on spotting the jam, drove their Proton Iswara Aeroback into a side road that led nowhere.

There the cops cornered them.

The suspects are wanted for alleged involvement in a car robbery in Brickfields early this month.
