Laura Holme, the recently appointed marketing director at Leo Burnett, has parted company with the agency without a job to go to.
Holme was released after five months in the position because the agency's marketing department is already over-resourced.
She will not be replaced.
She was appointed in October to replace Camilla Tappin, who moved to M&C Saatchi to become the agency's marketing director.
During Holme's time at Burnett, the agency picked up business for Ladbrokes, Leffe and the fruit products manufacturer Del Monte.
