Wide gap optical sensor OPB856Z series consists of LED and phototransistor designed to operate over distances up to 12 in. in industrial environments. RoHS-compliant unit operates in -40 to +85[degrees]C range and components are mounted in threaded color-coded housings. Emitter-sensor pair is designed to electrically mate with Molex 03-06-2023 connector with either male (for LED) or female (for Sensor) pins. Emitter uses LED with 935 nm peak wavelength, matched to silicon phototransistor.
