AMID A GOVERNMENT DRIVE TO boost the local call center industry, one Cebu-based operation is already responding to the call to help train more personnel to meet rising demand.
In a press statement, ExcelAsia Cebu said that it has trained and re-trained over 4,000 call center applicants since it started operations in August 2005.
This revelation comes a few days after President Macapagal-Arroyo ordered the setting up of a scholarship program that would train up to 100,000 Filipinos to boost the local call center talent pool.
