Sports and Social Development Minister, Saudi Samaila Sambawa's high handedness in sealing off the Nigeria Football Association secretariat may have stalled the execution of the second phase of FIFA Goal Project in Abuja.

The project is sponsored and financed by FIFA. It includes befitting camping hostels and a secretariat for football administration. FIFA has done such projects in many developing countries. The dirty politics of the sports ministry is now affecting completion of the Nigerian project.
