Zagreb, 30 March: Croatia's gross domestic product in the last quarter of 2005 was 4.8 per cent higher than in the same period of 2004. At the annual level, GDP saw a real increase of 4.3 per cent in relation to 2004, the State Bureau of Statistics reported on Thursday.

This is 0.5 per cent more than in 2004, when GDP grew by 3.8 per cent, and more than preliminary projections which spoke about a 3.6 and 3.7 per cent growth rate.

Expressed in current prices, Croatia's GDP in 2005 amounted to 229bn kuna. The finance ministry said that GDP per …
